these words are amazing. how they sum up my every thought of him. my every breath. every vision. every dream… even in our time apart i can feel the universe pulling us together. as if this space, this sea that momentarily separates us, is but a puddle. when we exchange emails, i can hear his voice, his laughter, his pronunciation. when we speak, i can feel his embrace, his honesty, his truth.  and when we’re together, his grasp, his whisper, his kiss, his touch—-its simply magical. and i wonder—do i love too hard? will i become another real-life example of a t. morrison character? will i be singing the sad songs that are written from pain, subjected to criticism, and stained with humanity by e. badu? but then i stop. and i allow myself to live. to breathe. to feel. to love.
